I like the contrast of the sad facial-expressions and the mood of the pastel colours, that contradiction of the sad emotion vs the light and colourful environment just fascinates me.
There are two things that I think could improve the drawing. One would be tweaking the colours a bit to create more contrast between
the girls skin tone and the sun so they don´t merge so much (see her arm barely stands out against the sun). The other would be removing the sun rays as they are more of a distraction rather than adding anything to the drawing. I think that without the sun rays, the girl and the cat become more the focus of the drawing and therefore, the overall composition would improve (and the sun will still be recognizeable as the sun because of the colours you used). Anyway good job with the lineless, it worked out very nicely and overall it´s a lovely drawing.
